Adidas match uniforms have been the top choice for soccer coaches, booster club parents, and high school administrators for the past decade. The Adidas name has become known for their superior quality and impeccable reliability. Nothing is new this year as Adidas reveals their 2012 line up of soccer match uniforms. With four new styles for 2012, Adidas is sure to have something for everyone once again this year.
Let’s take a look at the new line-up and lay down some grades.
The Condivo 12 is as high quality as any uniform on the market. Retailing at $98.00, the Condivo 12 features top-of-the-line Adidas FORMOTION technology for ultimate performance and comfort while in motion and Adidas’ famed CLIMACOOL colling system for better heat and moisture management through ventilation. This new uniform may have the marks of the beginning of an Adidas attempt to go green. Made of 100% recycled polyester pique, the Condivo 12 is built in a sustainable way to make the world a better place.
For the price, this uniform holds par. Its superior breathability and sustainable make are worthy of applause, but our recommendation is to go with the lesser expensive Campeon 11 uniform.
Grade: B+
The MLS Match Uniform is a nice surprise from the Adidas match line. With an official MLS patch emroidered on the left sleeve of every jersey, it is higher quality than a replica jersey and less expensive than an authentic. Customize your favorite MLS team’s colors with the services of a premier discount retailer like BuySoccerUniforms.com, adisoccerworld.com, or gamegearsports.com and your team can play like your favorite MLS players. Retail: $73.00.
This uniform is a great deal for MLS aficionados. Customizable and breathable, also featuring Adidas’ CLIMACOOL technology, the Match uniform matches up with the best. It is my favorite of Adidas’ new line.
Grade: A
The Sossto uniform has to have the greatest name in the soccer industry since the Pele. Will somebody ask Adidas how they came up with this name, or better yet, how to pronounce it? This uniform is my favorite. The look is fresh and the CLIMACOOL technology makes it a terrific match wear. Catch? You may have to wait to order the white uniforms. Adidas is currently doing some quality control on this color. Retail: $68.00.
The look and the technology, for the price, makes this uniform sure to be a popular seller.
Grade: A-
Looking for something new, but not ready to dole out the big bucks or the uniforms above? The new Estro 12 uniform set features a simple style and an affordable price. Retail: $53.00
CLIMALITE technology makes this a solid wear, but the middle-class look keeps it off my radar board for contender as uniform of the year.
